Overview

Tempest pairs a 24-knot top speed with true 5,000-mile explorer range — a combination that demanded a fine entry, active interceptors and an exhaust system tuned like an instrument.

Design & craftsmanship

The owner, a former racing sailor, asked for sailing-yacht feedback at the helm: real sightlines, manual overrides and a bridge that feels like a cockpit rather than a control room.

The commission was developed with Nordvik Yachts, from first sketch through engineering, fairing reviews and delivery detailing — the same hands-on design authority we bring to every Sternwake project.
