N/Y Northwind

Overview

Northwind is the largest yacht to carry a Sternwake exterior: seven decks, two helicopter decks, a 12-metre pool, hospital, laboratory and accommodation for a programme that spends years away from home port.

Design & craftsmanship

At this scale the styling had to be architectural rather than automotive — layered horizontal bands, deep reveals and a night-lighting scheme that reads as a small illuminated city from two miles off.

The commission was developed with Nordvik Yachts, from first sketch through engineering, fairing reviews and delivery detailing — the same hands-on design authority we bring to every Sternwake project.
